If you want to train with a master, we need to know you’re committed. Applicants to the comprehensive Custom Design and Fabrication program will write an essay explaining why they want to advance their skills in the RestoMod industry, submit a portfolio that shows off their skills, and interview with a Kindig Academy Admissions officer. This is an advanced skills program, so introductory concepts won’t be part of your curriculum. Students will be expected to already have foundational skills in most areas and will be asked to demonstrate those skills as part of the application process. A class full of students who already have that basic knowledge means instructors can focus on advanced specialized skills needed to produce the kinds of high-end custom vehicles for which Kindig is famous.

There’s only two requirements: a love of all things automotive, and the commitment to put in the work. These are beginner-level classes, so there’s no experience necessary. Whether you’re a weekend warrior in the garage or a complete novice, we’d love to have you in class!

If you ‘re accepted into the Academy, we’ll be happy to help you find housing by connecting you with Lincoln Tech ‘s available resources. Students come from around the country to train at the Denver campus, and there are a lot of different nearby housing and transportation options available.
